many times i downloaded files from torrent , but many of them are fake , sometime asks for pswd or some time dont play even i have almost all codecs and media players. so how can i c preview before downloading or partially downloaded file?so that i can save my time of downloading .

there's isn't a way for you to actually preview the files you are downloading, but a few good torrent sites have samples on some of their videos (not all, but some. I have an ipod vid, so i go to ipodtvnova) also, if you are downloading anime (which I have a notion that you are, since you mention you have lots of codecs which is primarily needed in animes), it's good to download from sites like boxtorrent since I believe they monitor it or something. anyway, bottomline is that you can't preview files in a torrent unless the maker includes a sample.
Reply:afaik there is no way to preview a bittorrent as the protocol isnt designed to allow it.
you can normally see the file in a torrent before d/l
and you can download one file 1st to see what happens
if you have codec problems consider using vlc as it supports almost all types of codec
