I just did a system scan on a freind's computer and access to this file was denied ... seems dodgy to me.
Does anyone know anything about this file? C:\hiberfile.sys?
When your system goes into hibernation mode, the contents of the system RAM is written to that file. Access denied is correct; it's a system file.
Reply:It's denied because it is accessed in kernel mode only. AKA: It's a pertinent system file.
