I have a virus it is a file on my C drive with random digits and has a locked update file?

I have a mysterious file that has a random number and letter pattern in my C:/ drive. inside is a folder called Update which is locked. how do i unlock this file to get rid of this file.?? what is this please help

get the name of the program and go to Add/Remove programs and remove it. Then go to the folder and delete it and anything in it. Then search the rest of C:\ for odd folders then run anti virus stuff and adware stuff and pest stuff and email the company that sent it to you and type foul language so that they bleed out of their ears.....

Reply:go into safe mode and run anti virus to remove. and I dont think you really want to open the file if you are sure its a virus.
