IF I FORMAT C DRIVE CAN I INSTALL WINDOWS FROM NET ?

Whenever I start my computer it shows message as "Cannot find Script File : C:/WINDOWS/boot.ini" and it
You can install it from your Windows CD, or you can repair it from your Repair CD or repair console (a choice when you turn your computer on). If you have none of those, the manufacturer of your computer probably sells you the recovery CD separately.

1 install xp in anoter partition.this will recover ur previous boot loader.if not recovers u will be able to recover this manually


2 use recovery cunsole to repair windows , some times not works.


3 use win 98 cd create boot.ini in same folder.


If u formate c drive system will be only installed by xp installation disc not by net.

Reply:after formatting your C:/ you have to install the windows first
Reply:boot.ini is a file which has starting address of os which u wanna start wen u start ur computer





if u have only 1 OS installed then it is not visible wen u start ur system





but if u have more than1 then it comes and asks u which u wanna choose





cant find means it has been deleted.





and u cant install windows from internet


u'll need atleast a windows CD or dump.
