I tried uninstalling Messenger and reinstalling, but still get that script error. Any ideas how to fix it? I can send out messages, but I can't read them, as the text field is invisible.

Please re-install the program in the following manner.
Don't attempt direct download.
First,save the download file in stead of direct run.
Close the internet connection.
Run the saved file off line.
Installation wizard will appear.
Follow the instructions carefully.
You will find installation process successful.
After installation, enable the program in set program access %26amp; defaults under custom setting.
In sign in page, click on messenger at top %26amp; select 'no proxy ' under connection preference.
Try now. There should be no problem.
